Customer Review: Good, but glue on blades...

After trying a 24 FEATHER BLUEBIRD DERBY GILLETTE ASTRA TREET Blades Sampler, I found these Astras to be the right balance for daily use (for me). I ordered this 100-pack and am generally satisfied with it, but as mentioned in another review, the blades are incompletely wrapped in wax paper and dabs of glue are used to make up the difference. The glue is often right on the edge of the blade, making the blade stick to the razor when trying to remove after use - a potential safety risk. I haven't noticed any difference in performance, but it seems the glue would collect shaving gunk and make it harder to rinse off... all of this could be avoided if they'd just wrap the blades properly and not use glue.
Still, these are my daily blades and they work well enough for the price. They're sharp enough for a close shave, but not so sharp I have to be wide awake and extra-careful to avoid cuts. I use Feather blades if I haven't shaved for a few days, but for daily use these Astras are fine.
Note: the other Astras were NOT as good for me, only Astra Superior Premium Platinum.
