I purchased this product using Amazon after reading a several reviews and determined I should start out with a lower strength since I am completely new to chemical peels. Well it is the 5th day since I used the 15% solution and nothing happened. First of all I received this product in a small bag and the solution had leaked a bit into the bag. Not sure it this is professional protocol to allow the cap to be loose. I proceded to take all precaustions and followed instructions religiously as this was my first chemical peel. I applied the first layer and left it on for 5min... no frosting, so I proceded to the next step and applied another layer of the 15% tca peel solution. I left the second layer on for another 5 min...no frosting and only slight sting. I then applied a third layer and left this layer on for the full time and still no frosting so as the instructions stated I rinsed my face for about 4 min with a baking soda and water solution. I was not to put any more layers on. I waited to see some kind of change but even after 3 days there way nothing!! No darkening of the skin...no peeling...nothing! It is now the 5th day and still nothing. I have a very hard time believing that this solution was 15% tca solution. It obviously was dilluted!! I would not reccommend wasting money on this product.

But the real magic is going on under your skin where collagen is being stimulated. This is what helps plumps up the lines and scars, yielding a smoother, more refined and beautiful complexion. With a peel of this strength, a full course of peels (6-8 peels done once a month) are needed to see optimal results. The 15% TCA Peel is a light peel that will have little to no down time for peeling. This is a great peel for beginners who are looking for results but would like to start at little less aggressively. This is a very safe peel and is suitable for most skin types, however, some darker skin tones, particularly African American run a small risk of post peel hypo pigmentation.
