Customer Review: Hollywood Tape great for gaps on blouses

I use Hollywood tape quite often especially to keep a blouse from gapping open. It is very strong and you don't have to worry about it coming loose during the day. It also works great to keep straps in place, hems on skits in place when you don't have time to sew, jacket lapels in place, etc. It does not leave any residue on your clothes and doesn't hurt if you forget to remove it before you wash your clothes, it just comes off in the wash, no harm done. It has many uses and works really good. You won't be disappointed. I love it and have recommended it to many of my friends and even give them a strip to try before they buy to prove how good it is. We all know the old saying about "A place for everything and everything in its place." Unfortunately, too often "everything" does not stay in its proper place. Straps slip, necklines gap, collars turn up, all manner of unsightly occurrences.
Cannot believe it's taken me this long to discover these handy, can't-do-without fashion tapes. They come in a neat small tin in individual papers; just apply, press, and you're set to go. These rascals know how to hold, and there's no sting to skin when you remove them.

I bought this tape because my button-up shirts always gap in the chest area. (Most button-up shirts were not made for women with large chests). So this is a need for me with my professional attire. It works well as long as you really smooth it on one side before removing the other side of the backing. Plus, these are big strips so I can cut them in half and use one strip in two areas. I bought the exact same one from somewhere else (slightly more expensive but Prime eligible). It's strong enough to hold the clothing in place but easy enough to peel off. It's also great to hold my over-the-knee boots in place (for more than 7 hours, but in cool weather). So far it works great! I love the tin box design. I'll always keep it in my cosmetics bag.

Am very pleased with this product - it works just as it says. Holds up pants hems and jacket sleeves. It's covered on both sides - so you can place it where you want - take off one side, turn it over to "stick" then just peel off the "top" to stick to the other side of the jacket, pants, etc.
It was also easy to pull off later.
