I'm a fairly critical person, especially when it comes to spending my hard-earned money on something I've never tried before. After searching out reviews on this mask I decided to give it a try. I am úber pleased to say that this mask is WonDerFul.
I suffered from acne as a teenager which I pretty much cleared up, but even now at 25 years old my skin is still fairly sensitive and can easily break-out into a number of problems. Dry patches, red patches, hormonal "period" acne, tiny harmless bumps around my hairline, and even the occasional facial cyst (hard, unpoppable and painful zits if you will).
Anywho, I used this mask twice a week for a fews weeks awhile back when I first got it and everything wrong with my skin got better by at least 50%. The little bumps around my hairline are nearly non-existant, I don't breakout at all, there is no dry patchiness, my oily areas are less oily, my skin tone is more peachy than red and my nose pores are grateful for the relief of tiny blackheads. I stopped using the product when my face was calm and clear to conserve the product. Then around my period I got a cyst, one of which was bigger, meaner and more uncomfortable than the usual tiny ones that last a day or so. This one lasted almost 2 weeks!! In my panic I forgot about the mask and tried other remedies I had used in the past (epsom salt, black tea bags, hot compresses, benzoil creams, etc...) which all pertty much did nothing but keep it from getting worse. When rummaging through my bathroom I found the mask, dabbed a bit on the cyst and went to sleep. When I woke up 6 hours later I was literally dancing for joy in my bathroom when I found that I had finally used a product that ACTUALLY made a difference. The pain subsided and the swell and size reduced easily by 50%. I used it again and slowly but surely this sucker is going away.
I'm so very impressed by this product and all of it's wonderful, calming ingrediants. Further, the product itself is unlike other face masks I have used. Most go on thick and then while they dry they start to itch, crack and pull at my skin to the point I can only use a straw to drink something and talking is forbidden. This mask is not even close to that. It goes on thin and when it "dries" it still stays moist enough that I don't even know it's their aside from the slight sulfuric smell and the cooling effect the mask has. Plus, a little bit goes a long way! It washes clean with a warm washcloth in a matter of seconds and doesn't dry out my skin after.
TRY this product peopl. I know everyone's face is different, but this concoction is really special. It's worth the money :)
