Customer Review: Works better when used CORRECTLY...
Summary: 5 Stars

... and when I say correctly I DO NOT mean the way the box tells you too - I mean the way your situation calls for.

I bought this product for cystic adult chin/chest acne and only later that day read the reviews on this product. I almost returned it based on the negative reviews, except I figured something out.

People's faces were getting burned and new pimples were popping up... WHY?? well, because they were treating skin that had no problem and ticking perfectly healthy pores off - so yes, they created a problem.

I want to know why the directions tell me to use this acne product ALL OVER my face, back, chest or other problem area when i have only a few nasty blemishes??? - I will tell you why. Because they want you to use more product so you need to buy more product. If they gave MOST people what they really needed in a 3 month supply - they would have 3 tiny bottles in a tiny little box - wouldnt sell great b/c it doesnt look like much - hmmmmm.

THE SECRET

I only ACNE SPOT wash, and then I ACNE SPOT tone, and then I ACNE SPOT lotion treat my ACNE SPOTS!!! I use my regular TeaTree cleanser before and my regular TeaTree antibacterial lotion after, avoiding the treated areas. One more great benefit of using it this way: MY 3 MONTH SUPPLY IS NOW A 1 - 2 YEAR SUPPLY!!! - use Q-tips NOT cotton balls :)

Customer Review: Burned Face
Summary: 1 Stars

I got this for my son. I decided to try it first. I used it a total of three times. The last time I used it was morning. I got to work and my face was burning. I noticed it was a bit red in the morning, but was thinking it was the heat from the shower. I went to the bathroom, washed off my face. It continued to burn and was red. I decided not to use it again. The next morning, it was worse. It hurt, felt like a horrible sunburn. My face was swollen, eyelids swollen, bright red, burned and hurt really bad. I put cortizone on it. Finally I called them. They wanted my info to give to their insurance. I asked if there was anything I could do to help with the burning, etc. They acted like I was stupid and said, put lotion on your face...tried that, it burned worse (even with cetaphil lotion). Finally, I decided to go to the doctor. They said I had chemical burns on my face. I had totally followed directions. Wound up getting a steroid shot and said to continue with cortizone. It has now been almost 4 days since I last used it and still burn and am red as a beet.

Customer Review: Lifesaver!
Summary: 5 Stars

I developed mild acne after deciding to go off of my regular birth control pill. Never having acne before, this was devistating. I watched all the infomercials and decided to go with Murad's Acne Complex Kit expecting the glowing, perfect skin that they promised within a few short weeks. I purchased the starter kit and I liked the smell of the products but after a month and a half, I was still experiencing bad breakouts. I even had the really painful acne that are so deep it takes weeks for them to come to the surface! I continued to use the second shipment of Murad because everything I read said that the purging cycle could take 4 or more weeks. I spent 3 months and over $60 on this stuff without results. Silly me, I was going to order more but I started reading reviews for my only alternative, Proactiv. Now that stuff isn't any cheaper in the long run but someone else mentioned Acne Free in their review and I figured that it was worth a try. I found it at my local Walreens for $19. Let me tell you, I used Acne Free for 2, TWO, days and saw results that I had not seen in 3 months of using the expensive stuff. I can't say enough about it. I'm thrilled that something so easy to get would work so much better than any hyped up product. Goes to show, don't buy from T.V.

Customer Review: tried everything, this works!
Summary: 5 Stars

I am a 22 year old female, and I've never written a review for anything until now because I really value this product. I have been suffering from moderate-moderately severe acne since I was 11. I tried every over the counter product, masks, and even prescription products. I also tried pro-active, and I have seen several dermatologists, but I still experienced whiteheads, blackheads, and cysts. I bought this product one day b/c I noticed my roommate had it, and I was suffering a particularly awful acne breakout when I had over 30-40 cysts in one month. Immediately, I noticed a difference. The flare ups slowed down, and within 2 weeks, new break outs stopped appearing. Within 2 months, my forehead was completely clear, the first time in 10 years. It's been over 4 months now, and my skin has not look this good since I was 10 years old. I no longer have cysts, and breakouts are basically non-existent. The product is also pretty good at reducing redness/hyper-pigmentation left by previous post-acne marks.
Also, I've tried other products that caused my skin to peel. This product did not try my skin, did not cause rashes, or any other adverse effects. I used a generous amount of the product everyday, twice a day. It's wonderful, affordable, and really works.

Customer Review: Waited 2 weeks before posting this review,

I made sure I tried this product long enough to see progress before writing a review. I have read reviews and noticed about half are happy with it (the same people who stuck with the product long enough) and the other half roughly are saying this is a horrible product that it made their acne worse. Well, this product DID MAKE MY ACNE WORSE, then it became better! I have been using AcneFree for 2 weeks and 1 day, and I can say that as of today I have NO NEW ACNE and the redness is diminishing and my skin is becoming smoother. This is a huge break through for me, because everything I have tried never worked. I have done the intense "spot treatment" medications, and the natural lavender oils.....nothing worked.... I have never had acne before, but since going on the Depo Provera birth control shot, I developed acne from my nose to my chin. It was very frustrating and embarrassing.
Now I am wearing less cover-up make up and probably won't be needing to for much longer. My husband has even said my skin looks better.

Bottom line: this is a good product if you are willing to be dedicated to it. Give it at least a month (I vowed I would finish the bottles even if I didnt see results...) These things take time, and good things are worth the wait.
