Customer Review: You'll Never Know if it Works Until You Try it!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've never used ProActiv, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I had mild to moderate acne through high school and college and Accutane finally got rid of it. Several years later, I started getting occasional zits and very small bumps mostly on my forehead. I thought I'd give AcneFree a try--it's only $20 for goodness' sake! I think it will work for some, but not for all. Like the subject says--JUST TRY IT! I tried using it twice a day, but it was overdrying. So now I just use it in the morning and at night I use Neutrogena Foaming Facial Cleanser with makeup remover. I only use the repair lotion on my T-zone, because my cheeks tend to be much drier than the rest of my face. AFTER 3 DAYS, my skin totally cleared up. It's almost been 1 month of using it only in the morning and I couldn't be happier. This really worked for me and I'm so glad it's relatively cheap! I say give it a try--obviously it works for some and not for others. If it doesn't work--go see a derm. And then get Accutane:).

Customer Review: works great if you're persistent!
Summary: 5 Stars

My son had developed cystic acne after successfully making it through high school with a clear face. Needless to say, he was not at all happy about it.
We tried all the usual remedies that had worked for him in the past, without success.
After reading the positive reviews on AcneFree, I ordered the 3 step kit, and within a few days of using it twice a day faithfully, his skin began to improve! (we also used the AcneFree facial scrub the first few days, just to open those pores and dry them out!)
First, all the lesions lightened in color-from their angry red, to a happier pink, then the newer smaller ones disappeared, and finally the larger, deeper ones cleared up! It was fantastic!
After they went away, he maintained his "new" clear complexion by using it once a day. If you have acne, and aren't allergic to aspirin or benzoyl peroxide, try this. The key is NOT slacking off, we found if you missed a "session" the acne immediately started to make a comeback.

Customer Review: Love this product
Summary: 5 Stars

I've been using this product for two years and love the results. This system works very well for my skin. I have adult acne in the T-zone area and often get deep, painful pimples without this treatment.

A couple of tips to make sure this works for you:
1. Be very consistent. You have to wash you face every morning and every night with the cleanser and use the lotion afterwards. I find the toner can be more irritating so I use it sparingly, especially in the winter when my skin is dry.
2. Give the product time to work. It took two months of consistent use for me to achieve completely clear skin but from there on after, I might get a tiny pimple every 3 or 4 months that disappears within a few days.
3. There will be irritation as your skin adjusts to the product. For me, it was worth the sacrifice to be pimple free. My skin adjusted within two weeks. If I start to feel irritation, I back off the toner.

Customer Review: Try the trial size first
Summary: 4 Stars

I never heard of AcneFree until I saw the trial size pack at Bed Bath Beyond. It only cost a dollar, so I decided to buy it. I was skeptical, but I was impressed when I saw visible results in less than a week. Keep in mind that I don't have severe acne, but I have bad breakouts on my forehead. Therefore, if your conditon is worse, results might take more time.

I used the products twice a day as directed, but my skin became flaky on some areas. I simply reduced the usage to once a day.

Its true that your pillowcase and face towels may lose color while using AcneFree. The website explains that the product contains peroxide. The box has a warning that it can fade fabrics.

I would suggest buying the trial pack before buying the full sized version just in case you decide that AcneFree is not for you. It could save you money and frustration.

I like that this is available at retail pharmacies, Target, and Wal-Mart.

Customer Review: Average Acne Cleaner
Summary: 3 Stars

So I had acne most of my teenage years and now I am 25 and still have some spots here and there but nothing like when I was a teenager. First I tried the many of Oxy pads, clearasil cleansers, etc and nothing was working. Then I tried that Green stuff they had on tv i forget what it was called but comes in bottles like this. That stuff was too harsh for my sensetive skin. Then I tried this and it worked pretty good for a while then stopped working after a few years. I then stopped this and went back to just washing with acne cleansers in the shower and that worked for a while and then I found acne.org and got his regimen and that has been working for me ever since. The stuff works great from that site and you can tell the difference. It is kinda similar to this, but I figured I would try his method because it was working. So I gave this a 3 star rating because it does the job and is average and is not too harsh for sensetive skin if you use it right.
