Customer Review: Why couldn't it have been around when I was in High School?
Summary: 5 Stars

I couldn't believe how fast I saw results! It sounds like some people are allergic, but I'm not, and I saw results, no joke, the very first time I used it! For about the last five years, I've been wearing really thick foundation. About a week after starting Acne-Free, I was putting my kids in the car and caught my reflection in my car's tinted windows. I have always hated when that happened because for some reason that reflection brings out every big ugly bump under my skin. I was shocked when my face was smooth and spotless! I've been using it for almost two months and haven't had any new breakouts, and the red spots from my old acne are even fading without the fade cream. The best part is, I'm wearing way less make-up! I love it, It's so so great! But buy it at Walmart or Target. It's cheaper and you won't pay shipping! Good luck, I hope it works for you!

Customer Review: Worked horribly for me
Summary: 1 Stars

I have sensitive skin and I first ordered the AcneFree sensitive skin version. That did not work for me at all. Then I tried out this one and it made my skin inflamed in about 2 hours. I tried it on in the evening and by 8:00 pm my face looked like a blowfish; bright cherry red. My skin felt very raw afterwards as if it had been burned. I did not TOUCH these products even once after that experience.

My boyfriend has regular skin; not too dry, not too oily and still this product was able to damage his skin. He has no problems using benzoyl peroxide in other products but this one might be a bit too strong.

I don't know how it has helped others but then again everyone is different.

I would definately stay away from benzoyl peroxide if you have sensitive skin and use salicylic acid or natural applicants like diluted tea tree oil.

Customer Review: Allergic Reaction??
Summary: 1 Stars

I have always had clear skin, but noticed that recently I was getting a lot of little bumps on my forehead and chin. Regular benzoyl peroxide cream wasn't helping, so I tried Acne Free. I used this product for 2 1/2 days and was thrilled with it until this evening. Yes, my acne is probably 85% gone, but my face has gotten red and swollen in patches. I cleaned my whole face with the cleanser then used the toner and lotion just on my problem areas. Since the red blotches are not on my whole face, I'm assuming either the toner or lotion is what my skin can't handle. I had to go to work with this red blotchiness and have people comment on it (very embarrassing!). Now, it may work for some people, but it didn't for me. I don't even have particularly sensitive skin. This product goes back to the store for a refund, and I hope my face calms down!

Customer Review: This Product is BETTER than Proactiv
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been using this product for a few years now and would used NOTHING else. I will tell you, that Proactiv did dry my skin out and it was red and hurt. This product can dry your skin if you do not do all three steps, that includes the mosturizing lotion. Sometimes if you feel as though your skin feels dry, you can skip a day on the lotion. I do wish that the cleanser had a little "grit" to it, but is still takes off the makeup. I have tried many many, lines of product including RX from my derm. This stuff clears your face almost immediately and STAYS clear. Give it a try. $18.99 for the three part and if you run out of cleanser (which I do, because I use a lot) you can buy the cleanser in a separate bottle and a much larger one at that. I have not found the toner separately, but my quest to convince the vendor continues.

Customer Review: Just not Proactiv...
Summary: 1 Stars

I am in my early 30's and never had a problem with acne until my mid 20's. I had been using proactiv for quite some time (5 years or so) and it worked pretty well. I say pretty well since it did clear my face some, but my face has not been totally clear in a long time.

Along comes AcneFree which is "better" than Proactiv since you can buy it locally and it contains more of the active ingredient--cool, I am sick of ordering it online and it is cheaper!

Well, I guess you get what you pay for--I don't consider myself to have particularly sensitive skin, but I used AcneFree one time in the morning. So far so good--until 2 am the next morning when I broke out in hives all over my entire body. So no more AcneFree for me, just wanted to give my experience for anyone who might be in the same situation.
