Customer Review: Excellent Intensive Moisturizer

I bought this product hoping it would end my search for the ultimate deep moisturizer for use on my feet after showering, and was delighted that it did indeed fulfill my hopes! I've tried countless creams, lotions, and treatments and never found anything that delivered really lasting, reliable results.. this product, however, is something to which I can truly commit. It provides LASTING softness to the rough spots on my feet, and although I can feel the natural oils when I initially apply the butter, they don't leave an oily film - the natural oils seem to absorb readily and simply leave behind softer, supple skin.
I also feel comfortable using the product because I know it's natural - there aren't any strange chemicals or perfumes, so I feel safe using it. The applications are so versatile; I've used it on my lips, cuticles, knees, anywhere.. I find that because it's so rich and thick, I don't really use it on my legs or the rest of my body; I prefer a more fluid lotion for those areas.
It doesn't take much of this butter to achieve softness.. I typically just swipe a bit off with my first two fingers for each foot. This little tub has lasted me for nearly 9 months! In that way it's extremely affordable.
I absolutely recommend this as an affordable and seriously effective intensive moisturizer!

I absolutely adore shea butter. It is like a magic cure for all manner of skin conditions and suitable for all skin types. It moisturizes without clogging pores, it stops itching, it reduces redness, it speeds the healing of burns and scrapes. I have extremely sensitive skin and eczema, and this does more for me than any prescription cream ever did. It stops the itch, gets rid of tge redness and flakes. I also used it on my stomach and chest to prevent stretch marks during my pregnancy. Even gaining a healthy 25lbs I didn't get them. My husband works in a restaurant and always had extremely dry, cracked peeling hands. Now he uses this under gloves overnight and his hands are baby soft. It is even suitable as a hair conditioner if you have shorter hair (would work on long hair too but might take awhile to get it all out). I originally bought shea butter from an import store locally, and found it online when the economy caused the store to close. I purchased several containers from this seller to give as Christmas gifts- to my brother who is a massage therapist (the creamy texture makes this a wonderful alternative to massage oils or lotions), to my grandmother to keep her skin supple, and to a friend as part of a little gift set with black soap and scrubby mits. I am sooooo happy I bought this! It works miracles on my skin! Keeps it VERY soft and moisturized while also keeping my acne to a minimum. It does not clog pores and goes on a little greasy, but if you let it sit, your skin absorbs it all very well! Priced very inexpensively for what it does and it lasts FOREVER! If I go on a trip with friends or spend the night at a friends house they all make jokes about how funny and wierd it looks in the container but after persuading them to try it on their own faces they absolutely ended up loving it and continued to use mine until I went home, and a few have gotten on here and bought some for themselves! I reccomend this for anybody who wants a natural solution to regain healthy skin. I also use as a lip balm and when my hair is dry after showering, I put some on my split ends and it seals them! Be careful not to put too much because it might end up greasy. But definately great for somebody who is trying to grow out their hair but doesn't want to trim the ends!Customer Review: Geat Moisturizing...But No Healing

Shea butter is well known for it's moisturizing, and more notably, healing properties. Shea butter, in it's natural form, is off-white, pale yellow, or cream colored after processing. It has a unique nutty smell which is not offensive. The smell will degrade over time after application...unless too much has been applied. Golden Shea Butter has palm oil added to it. Also, the healing component(s) of shea butter is quite sensitive. It deteriorates over a short period time or if the final product is altered too much.
I've used this product for a year. While a great natural moisturizer, I did not observe any signs of healing. I have a feeling that this shea butter is older or has been altered to the degree of degradation.
Once again, *this* shea butter with palm oil seems to be a great natural moisturizer (better than any chemicals in a bottle you might find at a local store), but don't expect any healing of blemishes, scars, etc.

I bought this product after learning more abt shea butter. I came on amazon & read all the reviews at first I was a lil nervous aft read'n diff comments. I read tht sum ppl melted it, and others added scents,& oils. But for me I just prefer it the way it is. My product came exactly like the picture showed it to be on time. I notice as yu rub the shea butter in ur hand it will melt like butter. Then apply it over the area yu desire. Since receiving it I've applied it to my feet which is softer now and face as the smell is not like ur ordinary everyday scents, its still acceptable with add'n oils 2 maintain the smell if need be. I also put it on my daughters scars after bath time. I'm very satisfied aft purchasing this african shea butter I will mos def be buy'n more whn I'm out. Hope it gives yu the same satisfaction
