Customer Reviews of American Crew Pomade, 3.0-Ounce Jar, Packaging May Vary (Pack of 2)Customer Review: Controls my hair and it doesn't look like I shellacked my head Summary: 4 Stars
So, if you are into the lazy dude approach to styling your hair but it is too wild or curly to get away with this then this stuff is for you! I get out of the shower, run some of this through my hair and then spend all of 30 seconds brushing my hair and it dries and my hair doesn't look like I am wearing a shiny helmet and stays under control all day.
Customer Review: disappointed Summary: 2 Stars
I used to like the older pomade. The new one does not hold my hair well at all. Over all I am pretty disappointed with this product (Gave both of them away to friends who also were disappointed with it). The only good thing about this pomade is the smell. I have switched to the pomade by Gillette.
Customer Review: Does what no gel or mousse can Summary: 4 Stars
This pomade is great for what I bought it for. It holds my hair's shape without getting crusty and flaky. This does come at the cost of feeling a bit greasy, but I don't mind it much since you can't tell unless you touch it, which I rarely do since it lasts so long. Smells a lot like lipstick.
Customer Review: Crew Pomade Summary: 5 Stars
I used to pick this up at the place I get my haircut, but they wanted $16 for a single jar. Picked up two for less than the price of one. I think this is a great pomade, I've tried several. It can have different effects on your hair depending on the wetness. I would recommend it.
Customer Review: Great for guys! Summary: 5 Stars
My husband and son both have coarse, somewhat curly hair and this is does a great job of taming it. It's not sticky or gummy, it has just enough hold to keep their hair from looking wild and frizzy. And this is a great value - in the shops one jar is $16!
