This hair dryer is quiet and does a good job. We bought it because we liked the ones at motels and timeshares we had seen and wanted one like them. The night light is quite bright(almost too bright for us). The air flow is quiet and does a good job but does not offer separate heat/ air controls. We have found the Andis to be comperable to the dryers found in the more upscale hotels. The hang up cord is a great feature that helps keep cords organized. The night light gives plenty of light for finding your way around the bathroom at night. Two speeds supply plenty of drying power. Nice quiet hair dryer that attaches to wall. Green nightlight is a little alien-like but it gives off quite a bit of light. I don't need any other nightlight in my bathroom. The cord is long enough to do the job and wraps nicely around the hook. It dries the hair well and I especially like the cool button.Customer Review: A great choice

I have owned an Andis hair dryer before and loved it- I had to leave it when I sold my home. I quickly ordered a new one for my present home (a slightly upgraded version) and am extremely pleased. I have enjoyed this dryer [I have used the Andis great travel ones happily for years]and find this measures up. It is convenient to use, the power is good and I like the wall mount. My only reservation is it still has a slight smell of damp, musty--China? when turned on which I cannot seem to neutralize.
