PROS: Quick to heat up.
CONS: Setting notches, resting hook, on/off switch.
This straightening comb is really nice but has some design flaws that are listed below:
It has 20 settings that are accessed on the side of the handle but only five marked notches; 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20. Basically, if you want a temperature of 17 then you need to move the wheel between 15 and 20 as there is no actual number labeled as 17 (and so forth).
There are two screws below the comb area with a resting hook. I found the screw/hook area snagged my hair and was pulling it out. I have removed the resting hook and now use a heat resistant device to place my straightening comb on.
The on/off switch is located on the handle so when pressing your hair you might accidently press the off button.
Overall, I am happy with this comb. It is great for a consumer but I am not sure if it would be good for primary professional use, although using it as a backup professional comb might be ok.
Do not buy this pressing comb! I am constantly accidentally hitting the on/off switch causing the iron to turn off. Although I have removed the resting area on the comb, my hair still gets caught between the comb and the handle - it yanks out my hair. I have stopped using this item and have resorted to a flat iron that works much better and gives better results.
