I bought this product around 4 months ago from a local Sally's. I hardly used it (once/two weeks possibly?) and just turned it on for the first time in a month and it blew up and became extremely hot. I wanted a quality blow dryer and have had issues in the past with the end of the dryer getting clogged up, but this one had a removeable filter so I thought it'd work better. Not only does the dryer look in brand new condition, the filter is not clogged whatsoever; I have no idea why the motor blew up. Sally's won't take it back since it's over 60 days and there was no warranty on it through Andis. My advice (especially if you'll use it more than once every month...): Save your money and go with another dryer, or get an extended warranty if you do purchase it.
