The Andis RC-Z Ionic 1875W Ceramic Hair Dryer with Folding Handle and Retractable Cord features ceramic technology that preserves natural oils and seals in moisture for shiny, silky, healthy hair. The Ionic Dryer breaks water molecule clusters into micro fine particles, while penetrating the hair shaft, which renews and repairs hair. Your hair is revitalized for a softer, smoother, shinier finish.
The Andis Ionic Hair Dryer lives up to its promise. The first time I used it people asked me if I had gotten a haircut (I hadn't). The Dryer has several safety features: it has a polarized plug that fits into a polarized outlet only one way (I thought this would be an issue since my outlet also has a switch to turn the fan on, but it fit perfectly). It also has a safety plug that will shut off the Dryer if necessary (like if the Dryer falls into water) - you need to test this each time you use the dryer, but the test only takes a matter of seconds. The Dryer has three heat choices: low, medium, and high plus a "cool shot" button to lock in curls for longer-lasting style (you concentrate the cool feature on the desired curl until the curl is set). I found the temperature settings to be perfect and the hot setting was just hot enough, not too hot like I've found in other dryers. While I initially bought the Dryer might be too heavy because of the ceramic feature it really isn't - it feels nice and comfortable while I use it. Finally, the Dryer has two features that make for easy storage: the retractable cord feature is very easy to use and eliminates the cord being tangled; and the Dryer folds in half - it fits perfectly in a drawer in a cabinet in my bathroom.
The Andis Ionic Hair Dryer does an excellent job and is a great deal at a low price.
