As my first flat iron purchase I orginially purchased Andis 67690 1-Inch Nano-Silver Tourmaline Wet or Dry Ceramic Flat Iron. I really liked that item but my hair was way too thick for the 1 inch. So I decided to purchase this item in the 2 inch, and I am very pleased with the item. It literally heats up in 30 seconds. When I first got it I had a problem with getting it to the right temperature that I wanted, but I also had that problem with the other flat iron as well. This is a nice light weight flat iron. Its cheap in price and even if it lasted for 6 months it will be a $22.20 well spent. I have very thick and heavy hair and this item does the trick in giving me nice straight hair in just a matter of a few short minutes. If you have thick hair and looking for a flat iron I would suggest purchasing the 2 inch, because I think you will find like I did that the 1 inch is going to be too small. This is definitely a well spent purchase, I am pleased with the item and would definitely buy it again in the future if this one ever needs replaced.
