My esthetician recommended using 100% aloe for helping with acne, so I found this on Amazon.com and purchased it. The aloe helps prevent excessive sebum production which can inhibit the acne from surfacing. Wonderful organic product - the only one I found without various chemical preservatives. It is a bit liquidy (less gel-like), but it is easy to spread, it dries fast, and provides great relief for dry or sunburned skin. Good for you and good for the environment. I ordered this gel for very dry, scaly skin. It works well but more liquid than gel consistency. Don't hesitate to buy this product if you're in the market for aloe. Just like some of the other reviews, I also think it's a bit too liquid-ish. But other than that, it's been helpful and it feels more natural than the other Aloe Vera gel that I have tried. A pretty good product for the price. It came out like a liquid rather than a gel, but in my understanding, I think Aloe Vera juice is supposed to have a watery consistency. Didn't irritate my skin, but I prefer using tea tree oil for blemishes, personally.
