I've used Aveda Rosemary Mint shampoo in hotels and bought a bottle for myself since I liked the refreshing uplifting scent. Just over a few days, my hair feels heavy - weighed down by residue and oily. So I switched back to a standard shampoo with SLS and my hair feels clean and light again.
I think that it doesn't work if you have a very oily scalp and thick hair. I've found this to be the case with SLS free shampoos with my hair like Kiss My Face as well.
