There's finally a decent shower gel sponge on the market for guys! I enjoyed this shower tool from Axe very much. Not only is it compact, but it has two sides (a soft side for the sensitive areas) and a rough part to clean the heels and palms. The shower tool is easy to hang on to and after you're finished, you can hang it on the shower head. No muss and no fuss with this body scrubber. I tried it out as soon as I received it in the mail. I gave it a good workout and it stood up to the test. Another sold customer for this fine product from Axe.
Highly recommended.

The Axe detailer is a pretty good product - but I wouldn't recommend it for the average guy who already practices good hygiene. I'd recommend it more for guys who do construction or other manual labor jobs and who truly get dirty every day. Or perhaps those who do intensive athletic activity. As for the product punch line about girls checking out guys and noticing everything, there is some truth to that but personally, I've done fine for many years without something like this - probably because I have a desk job and just go jogging every day.

The axe shower tool is a great way to exfoliate your skin without buying a natural loofah. Natural loofahs seem to work better but are usually hard to hold onto, especially when they're loaded up with soap.
The mesh material used to make it does a good job without being overly rough. The tool itself fits perfectly in my palm and is simple to use (I'm male and have large hands, FYI).
I see this for about 3 bucks each at Target and having used it, would most likely buy it again.
Definitely recommended.

The Axe Detailer Shower Tool comes in an easy open package. However, the Axe shower tool's only real advantage over any other loofah is that it has a black grip surrounding it which makes it less vulnerable to slip through the user's hand while in the shower. The shower tool's red abrasive "scrubbing" surface is not much more effective at cleaning the body's extremities than normal scrubbing alone. Overall, the design of the tool is geared towards males, but its function is no more effective than any other loofah on the market.Customer Review: Ho-hum--nothing THAT different from what's already out there

I'm a big-time shower sponge user and have been for many years. Whatever shower gel product I've used has worked fairly well, although I've always wished they could improve it. Well, this Axe Detailer Shower Tool has some excellent improvements--an easy-to-grip rubber handle and this extra stiff scrubber side that gets off the tougher dirt. Pretty good, but it's nothing THAT different from what's already out there. Sure, it's nice and I give it three stars. But you don't really need AXE gel for this product. Sorry.
