I have purchased many different high-end, highly-priced flat irons, and Babyliss Pro BABP2559 has delievered the most impressive results. Here are the reasons why:
1. Adjustable heat temperature up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, so it straightens the hair in a very short time. Hence, no tired arms.
2. Heat buffer, so you don't burn your skin.
3. Porcelain ceramic gives a smooth, healthy silky shine. It does not damage my hair like other flat irons.
4. Very wide plates at 2.5 inch straightens the hair MUCH faster because it is able to hold more hair. I will never go back to anything less than a 2.5 inch plate. It does the job soooo fast.
5. It works for all types of hair. Coarse to thin/ fine hair. Some people complain about the iron not clamping well for thin hair, but it does not affect ironing ability of the product. The person needs to KNOW that people with thin or fine hair should use a tension comb to guide the hair while ironing it. The product is not faulty, the user is. I have very fine/thin hair and it irons my 30 inch long hair in 4 to 5 minutes. It works so fast and it makes my hair look so pretty as though it was salon styled.
6. You don't need to spend a fortune for it's price. I bought another one as a spare because this product is hard to find.
For any type of hair, you should use a hair heat protectant before using any flat iron and use a tension comb. With the use of Babyliss Pro BABP2559 2.5 inch plate flat iron, I am able to have beautiful, silky smooth, straight hair without damage to my hair or my pocket.
