Like others, I was a bit hesitant of the price before ordering, however, after using it for over a year, I would pay much more for the same results! It is amazing and places foundation, concealer, blush and everything else flawlessly, and is sooooooo easy to use. I was heartbroken when my new puppy "found" it, and apparently liked it as much as I do - thus I had to purchase another! My adult daughter thought I was crazy paying $20 for a makeup sponge . . . . . until she tried it and now she won't use anything else. I wash with baby shampoo, as I do with my brushes, and I have used the same one daily for over a year and it still works as new. Users who have had a problem or complained about it coming apart may have been rubbing too hard - it takes a gentle touch and this also ensures a flawless finish. The design and fact that it is Latex-free also contribute to the value. This cannot be compared to any other makeup sponge as it is so different from any other sponge.
