Customer Review: Nice for Cheeks

I was hoping to be able to use this for my lips & cheeks, but unfortunately it doesn't suit my lips. No matter how little of an amount I put on my lips, the color looks bad on my lips. My BF literally made fun of me/commented on it. He said that it was just too bright for me, and that it just looks like I've been drinking cool-aid or sucking on a sucker. It bothered me, b/c I was really hoping it would look good. HOWEVER, I did think it looked really nice on my cheeks (well, at least my BF didn't say it looked bad...heh) It had a really nice natural rosiness for my cheeks that looked pretty. It has that, "I've just been kissing a guy and am flushed" look that I love. I want to find a product that will do the same for my lips, and this wasn't it, sadly. If you know of another product that gives that look, let me know!Customer Review: Not travel safe!

I have very fair skin and don't like wearing heavy makeup. I read about this in a magazine and decided to splurge on it after trying it in a department store. I found this color to work just right for me, and I was really happy with it. But there were cons, too: I did not like how my fingers would be stained too after applying it. Sponges/cotton don't work as well as fingers do. The rose fragrance is a little gross when you use it on your lips. Yick. And, I felt that this product was really too expensive.
Then during moving, it exploded in my suitcase and leaked out of a plastic baggie, damaging clothes and a pillow with stains that did not come out. The lid had cracked... it is made of very cheap plastic. If you buy this, I wouldn't recommend bringing this with you when you travel! Beware!
Customer Review: Rosy flush in a bottle

In Jane Austen's day, ladies pinched their cheeks to give them a rosy
flush. A roll in the hay or a brisk walk in the snow achieve a similar
blush effect. Thankfully, Benefit has come up with a product that creates that same glow in a way that lasts longer and comes in a convenient little bottle--Benetint cheek and lip stain. What's special about Benetint is that since it's a stain, it doesn't sit on top of the skin. The result is much more natural than with a powder or cream blush, as if the glow was coming from within and not from an applied product. It also serves double duty as a lip tint (think fresh berry-stained pout). The rosy hue is flattering to all skin tones and the rose-petal scent is an added Benefit (that Jane Austen would have appreciated, and without the pinching!

Having light olive color skin, I am wary of things being too pink. I was planning to replace a lip/cheek stain from Vincent Longo that was a great color. However, one day last month I was waylayed one day by Benefit girls. They put some Dr. Feelgood and Benetint and I was a new woman. The pink was just right on my cheeks in that it looked completely natural. On my lips, it was exactly *the* color that I had been searching for. I had not been able to find the right tint to make my lips look a bit darker than their natural color but not garish or unnatural. It is perfect. A little lip gloss, or even balm and I am good to go. I am not a big make up person so Benetint is perfect. Plus, the with the size of the bottle, this stuff should last a good year or more.Customer Review: Will never go back to using regular blush again!

Like many others I bought this originally as a lip stain but it did nothing butdry out my lips. I decided to try it out as a cheek stain and wow am I impressed! I bought the red color and just made some stripes on my cheek and quickly blended it in with my finger. Yes it does stain your finger but after washing your hands throughout the day it will fade. The real compliant about this is when I got out of the shower I first put moisturizer on my face, then all I used was Benetint on my cheeks and wow it made me look great with no foundation or anything else on my face.
This stuff looks on me like my cheeks when I get flushed. It is very natural looking. I will never go back to regular blush again!
