I got this today and I couldn't wait to try it out! I have dry skin, so I rubbed a tiny bit of moisturizer on my bare cheeks and then dabbed and blended the Benetint over the top. I didn't have a problem with it drying too quickly that way so I'd definitely recommend a bit of moisturizer if you have that problem. I put my foundation on over the top and the beautiful rosy glow shines through as if my skin naturally looked like that! Then I used a q-tip to rub it into my lips, and I absolutely love the natural reddish color it imparts. I hate lipstick but I need color to my lips, and this is exactly what I've always wanted.
Buy it, you won't be sorry, and if you are, send it to me and I'll use it!

I bought this after reading all of the fabulous reviews and am returning it to Sephora tomorrow. First I used it on my cheeks, following the directions to apply 3 dots and blend. I had to repeat this 3 times and still was not able to see much of a color on my cheeks. I then tried it out as a lip stain, and the color did show up, but was too pink for my taste. I didn't think I would have a problem with it being too light or too pink because I have a very light skin color and blue eyes, however I do have some redness in my face, and perhaps this was why the color was totally wrong for me. So this color is not "universally flattering" as you may have been lead to believe.Customer Review: the best cheek stain - worth the price

this lip and cheek stain is amazing. I've tried others, but they were only a waste of money. I've recently purchased the sephora cheek stain, and it is absolutely awful. other stains are gooey and feel like vaseline on you face.. there's no way that they're good for your skin.
I thought that 28.00 was too much to pay for this, but I finally broke down and bought it. I'm really glad I did because it's totally worth it. Don't hesitate at all when thinking about purchasing this product. it's amazing. It blends well and look totally natural. The stain sinks into your skin unlike other products that just sit on top. It's easy to wash off, too. just use soap and water.

I had heard so many good things about Benefit's benetint, but I was still very skeptical because the product looked sooo red in the bottle. Let me tell you, it's everything they say it is. The color really is sheer, so you can put it on once to even out your complexion, or a few times if you really want to highlight your cheek bones. It works great as a lip stain, and will stay on for a decent amount of time. The color (on both lips and cheeks) isn't too bright at all. I use this product every day now, and I've definitely gotten comments on how "rosy" I've been looking lately. To top it off, the product really does smell like roses...one of my favorite scents!Customer Review: First Benefit product; very impressed.

This is the first Benefit product I've bought, and I did so based upon the strength of the reviews. Honestly, I was very impressed by Benetint. It's my first non-powder blush, and it was a breeze to use. It smells great, the color is perfect, and it's easy to use. It's a mite expensive, but I do believe it's worth it. I've found, however, that under my foundation, it tends to not be as noticeable, and over my foundation, it tends to wipe it away/not last as long. I'm still figuring out which would be best, but besides that, it's a pretty useful product. I tend to use it on my lips with Rosebud Salve, and it works well and looks cute.
