I tried on Lemon-Aid at Sephora. I have dark circles (including upper eyelids) that worsened through my thirties. Lemon-Aid completely covered the discoloration without looking like I had concealer on my skin. I'm very skeptical about claims of "miraculous" beauty products, but on my skin it really was that good. I looked years younger and more rested.
About the color: Although the product is pale yellow in the package, the color almost disappears on light skin. It is much lighter than any other yellow "correcting" concealers I've seen, with none of the orange overtones. You do need to pat it onto the skin--it won't look right if you try to spread or rub it on like a cream. Because a little goes a long way, it looks like there's enough product in the package to last at least 6 months of daily use. At about 10 cents a day, I'd consider this a bargain.
I was delighted with the immediate results. However...by the time I was able to take it off (several hours later), the skin around my eyes was so irritated that it looked like I had a bad sunburn. The next morning my eyes were almost swollen shut. It was several days before all of the swelling and redness disappeared. This was bad enough for me to knock a couple stars off what is otherwise a great product. It's possible that my reaction was to the fragrance, which I found to be an unpleasantly heavy and sweet "baby powder" scent.
The moral of the story is to try on the product before you buy, or make sure you can return the product if necessary. Unfortunately, if you have allergies or sensitive eyes, I recommend you avoid Lemon-Aid.
