I have terrible dark circles- bluish brown discolored skin on both my upper lids and lower lids. Started when I was a preteen. I am now in my mid-thirties and have used Dermablend for years, but after seeing a recent picture of myself realized I needed to try something new! The Dermablend is very dry but Lemon Aid and Boi'ing are much smoother and silkier. I do not find them too waxy like some others have said, but I also live in a very dry climate. The Lemon Aid really brightens up my eyes; I use just a small amount on the upper lid and it does get in the creases a little bit, but not too bad. (I have a light complexion with olive undertones.) I think this stuff is fantastic!Customer Review: Astounding

I literally don't leave the house before putting Lemon-Aid on. The difference in the look of my eyes with no make up and just a little teensy bit of Lemon-Aid is astounding - well worth the minute it takes to apply!
Lemon-Aid covers all the dark and unevenness on my eyelids and leaves behind a nice bright glow. It doesn't even look like there is any make up on at all.
This is also an amazing base for eye shadow. The shadow goes on smoother, in richer color and lasts nearly forever.
If I had to pick an item out of my make up drawer that I couldn't live without, this would be it (with Benefit's Eye Con running a very close second).

I have had my eye on this product (no pun intended, hehe) for awhile and finally decided to try it out. I strongly recommend it for anyone looking for an around-the-eye brightener that doesn't irritate the eye itself. It works better and looks more natural than traditional skin colored concealers and white sticks, probably due to the yellow hue. The product goes on matte and has great staying power, and did not irritate my usually sensitive eyes. It wiped out my under-eye circles and acted as a great base for my eye shadow. Again, I highly recommend this product! Benefit has some great products, I will be reviewing a few more in the next couple days.Customer Review: Long lasting, gives a very natural look

I am in love with Benefit's Lemon-Aid. I have used it for about two years now and I still have half the product left. Both my daughter and I have shared it so I find it to be an incredible value for the money. I don't find it too thick or sticky as others have suggested, this might have something to do with where it's stored. Mine is perfectly creamy and just glides on my lids without any effort at all. It is an eye brightener, not a shadow or colorant.
I have pretty much stopped wearing eyeshadow and use the Lemon-Aid almost exclusively. It leaves you with a very natural look and I find it to be an exceptional product.

I used Lemon-aid for about a year and at first I really liked it. Then I started to notice that by the end of an eight hour work day my eyeshadow would become one solid wash/color even through I had used three different shades to create a smokey eye in the morning. I think that the oils from my eyelids absorbed the eyeshadow. I switched to MAC paintpot in Soft Ochre which is a similar color to lemonaid (Yellow beige). MAC paintpots also come in a variety of colors from pink, black, blue, and gold. I find that the paintpots work a lot better for me and my eyeshadow stays put for the entire day.
