Customer Reviews of Benefit Cosmetics Lemon-AidCustomer Review: Lemon-Aid is a permanent part of my makeup bag! Summary: 5 StarsI adore this product. It's great alone when you are short on time and need something pretty and simple to brighten up your eyes... it's also perfect as a shadow base on your eyelids, under concealer and powder. That's what I do most of the time, and my eyeshadow does NOT move all day long. I use this product with Benefit Eye Bright and Bo-oing! and my eyes look fantastic all day long. (I swear I don't work for Benefit... I just love the line!)
Customer Review: Fabulous and simple look Summary: 5 StarsI've avoided makeup for the longest time-too much bother.
I'm going back into a girly phase, and on a whim decided to try Lemon-Aid.
I love this stuff. It takes a just a light touch to brighten my eyes and take years off.
I add some eyeliner and mascara, and I've got a nice clean look for day or evening.
Customer Review: works great- high price Summary: 4 StarsThis item works well for eyelids (not undereye)if you are pale to medium complected (only). It is also useful around broken capillaries esp. under /around the nose; a little bit goes a long way; be sure to apply it in ample light so you don't over do it.And it lasts a long time; that being said,it's up to the you if the price is worth it; you can achieve just as much with NYC stick concealers w/ vit. E and they can be used over the entire face.(for less than 2 dollars). The yellow tint of lemon-aid (is not too yellow which is great) does work slightly better for areas stated above; but not dramatically better. If you do want to look flawless and take the extra time to use different products for different areas of skin on your face(and you have 18 dollars) I do recommend the purchase of this product. Alot goes a long way b/c it is formulated specifically for your eye lid; which is great for me b/c I am pale with really dark/tan eyelids; it really evens out my face. Before I used The NYC for all cover up areas b/c that product has full coverage and is very versitale. But the lemon aid does add an extra umph- albeit only noticed by me- but that's what counts right?
Lastly, and I can't stress this enough: both products are non-comedogenic, go on smooth (even better if lotion is applied first),and control oil/shine to an extent. This is wonderful if you worry about blackheads or have sensitive skin. You won't break out from using this.
Customer Review: It works, but... Summary: 3 Starsyou must realize this stuff is dense!! It almost resembles a paste, difficult to get out of the pot, and difficult to tap onto the eye. You need to rub it, and that's a no-no around the eye area. I do like it, and use it daily. However, I mix it with my cream concealer to aid in blending. It stays on well....it is pasty remember. A good product, as long as you know what you're getting.
Customer Review: A very natural concealer, but a bit hard to the touch. Summary: 4 StarsJust bought Lemon-Aid yesterday and couldn't wait to try it this morning. It looks very natural on the upper lids, which has the effect of making me looking quite alert early in the morning, but when applied to the under eye, it looks unnatural. Well, it's not supposed to be used to conceal the dark circles anyway. However, Lemon-Aid is a pretty stiff concealer, and there is already some 'dents' in the stuff 'cos I've got to press really hard in order to get a bit of Lemon-aid on my fingers. It would be good if the texture is creamier......
