Customer Reviews of Benefit Cosmetics Lemon-AidCustomer Review: It's alright, but I don't love it Summary: 2 Stars
I saw this randomly on a shopping network show, I think it was a benefit hour. Then I got a little shopping spree as a gift for my birthday. I thought it looked really useful, even though I don't usually have dark circles under my eyes, but just as a brightener. When i got it, i was a bit disappointed. As other reviewers have said, it is quite hard, and hard to evenly spread under the eye or on the eye lid. I still use it occassionally, but dont like fussing with it which happens when you use it. I dont think its worth the money personally.
Customer Review: A very natural concealer, but a bit hard to the touch. Summary: 4 Stars
Just bought Lemon-Aid yesterday and couldn't wait to try it this morning. It looks very natural on the upper lids, which has the effect of making me looking quite alert early in the morning, but when applied to the under eye, it looks unnatural. Well, it's not supposed to be used to conceal the dark circles anyway. However, Lemon-Aid is a pretty stiff concealer, and there is already some 'dents' in the stuff 'cos I've got to press really hard in order to get a bit of Lemon-aid on my fingers. It would be good if the texture is creamier......
Customer Review: Darker skin tones will have to learn how to use this Summary: 4 Stars
I must say I was weary when someone told me to buy this product because im really dark(African American). But I bought it and to tell you the truth it works and let me tell you why. Darker Ladies use it as a base and nothing else I wouldn't use it as eyeshadow per say just a base to wear those eye shadows colors that you want to pop and and to high light the brow bone. If you want something for darker skin tones that is going to the the same effect as lemon aid I suggest M.A.C.'s concealer in a pot or tube in NW-40 trough 50.
Customer Review: My new best friend Summary: 5 Stars
I love my lemon-aid! I have very fair skin so my under-eye circles can look quite pronounced, and I have searched high and low for a product to help hide them. The yellow of the lemon-aid helps counter balance the blue of my under eye circles and the texture is substantial enough to last. The product is thick, but I don't need much of it. All I do is very lightly sweep my finger over the surface of the make-up and that gives me enough to do the job. I also use it on my lids, and it gives me a bright-eyed wide awake look.
Customer Review: Great eye primer Summary: 4 Stars
I have used Lemon-Aid for a few years as an eye primer and to cover up redness on my eyelids, to highlight below my eyebrows, and to brighten under-eye darkness. It is great if you apply it lightly - I always put a moisturizer on my lids right before I put it on so it goes on lightly an smoothly. I also set it with a powder, or else it can crease - my only complaint about the product really, but this may also be due in part to my moisturizer application. Overall I recommend it for a natural clear look.
