Customer Review: Not for darker skin

I love Benefit products but this one was disappointing. I have medium to dark skin and it looks too brightly yellow on me. It makes a decent base for eyeshadow, but I got it because I wanted my eyes to look brighter without eyeshadow.
The texture was not great either. It looked "crease-y" very quickly and didn't glide on when I applied it- I had to pat it on.
I would suggest trying this at a store before buying it so you can see how it works for you! I wish I had!

I have been staying out all hours of the night lately and usually look pretty rough the next day. I stopped at Macy's one day on a whim and got a makeover. The beautician used this and I love it! I bought it on the spot. No problems with it being too cakey or anything, goes on very smoothly and stays put, which is great since I have incredibly oily skin. I have really dark lids even on my best days and this just makes my eyes look brighter, almost sparky. Well worth the money.Customer Review: Great for light skin with yellow undertones

I have fairly light skin, with splotchy redness and yellow undertones and dark circles under my eyes. I tried on both Lemon Aid and Bo-ing Lite, and the Lemon Aid did a much better job of brightening up underneath my eyes than the Bo-ing Lite. It makes me look refreshed and bright-eyed. I only have to use the lightest touch of this for it to work, and it goes on very smoothly without creases or wrinkles developing, so it's definitely worth the money.Customer Review: Lemon-Aid is a permanent part of my makeup bag!

I adore this product. It's great alone when you are short on time and need something pretty and simple to brighten up your eyes... it's also perfect as a shadow base on your eyelids, under concealer and powder. That's what I do most of the time, and my eyeshadow does NOT move all day long. I use this product with Benefit Eye Bright and Bo-oing! and my eyes look fantastic all day long. (I swear I don't work for Benefit... I just love the line!)Customer Review: Great for gals with glasses!

This is a great product to use if you want something simple to make your eyes stand out. It doesn't look yellow when you put it on, just makes your lids look brighter. I wear glasses and generally just want something to make my eyes pop a little - I have little patience for or skill with most eye products, so this one is great. Just a few pats on my lids and I'm ready to go. Also, the contrast makes lashes look darker even without mascara.
