I've always been riddled with terrible razor burn, and i've tried 5-6 other brands of shaving gel and cream until stumbling upon this. It is uniquely amazing. It's thick and very smooth in texture, and assuming you're shaving with the grain (down) as you should be, you won't even feel the blade. I have acne prone skin and was worried about using this, but I rinse it off very well with cold water after and I have no issues. Followed with Billy Jealousy Shaved Ice after shave, I can't possibly think of a better shaving system...I honestly forget that I even shaved! This can also be used as lubricant underneath a layer of your current shaving cream, that's how I transitioned into this product and it worked well!Customer Review: Best Shave Cream

This shaving cream is excellent. I have used many different shaving creams both gel and creams and this is one of the best. I usually have pretty abrasive shaves but with this cream my shave was smooth. I am prone to getting break outs do to shave burn irration and since using this I haven't had a break out yet. A lot of guys will shave in the shower so that their beard will soften, with this cream that softening step really isn't needed. This cream feels very different then your normal shave cream as it doesn't lather and is made of silicon which provides a frictionless surface over the face. It's expensive, but I think it's well worth it.Customer Review: Great Shaving Cream

Bought this shaving cream four days ago. I was kind of skeptical, and wondered if it really would be better than a can of Aveeno or Gillette shaving cream. Well, it really is good stuff -- it has made shaving much easier on my skin, and I will be using it from now on.
Also, this was about as much as I was willing to pay for shaving cream - I saw some other brands available at high end stores (selling for as much as $65, and I'm not spending that much on shaving cream), and they were basically the same as some "all-natural" products I had tried from the health food store for arount $7.00.
Billy Jealousy is really a great product.

It's good but completely overpriced! I thought it was really good until one day I didn't have it with me and needed to shave and used my Nivea body wash instead and that worked surprisingly well. Now I use the Nivea Active 3 and it works much better than the hydroplane; it produces less friction, giving me a less irritated shave (I use a Panasonic wet/dry electric shaver). The hydroplane feels really smooth when you first put it on, but after a few passes with my electric shaver, it starts producing friction and I have to reapply another layer; I don't have that problem with the Active 3 plus it's dirt cheap compared to the hydroplane.Customer Review: Love this product!

I have always used an electric razor dry, and it did not bother me too much. However, my skin would be a little dry and irritated afterwards, and a little red. Hydroplane changed all that by allowing the razor to glide over my skin, and moisturizing while doing it. My face does not appear red or dry and flaky after shaving now. My skin feels soft and smooth. And it smells good. Finally, I was worried that it would gunk up my blades or the mechanics, but since you allow it to dry a bit first, that is not a problem. I highly reccomend this product of you use an electric razor. I gave it to family members for Christmas last year.
