Took a little while to get used to the silicon base but this shave cream works well. Now is it worth the premium price? Perhaps not. I think it is a good "special occasion" type product. It works pretty well and gives me a close shave. It definitely beats regular shaving cream! However last Christmas I was given some L'Occitane shaving oil, which I used under regular shaving cream and I got a smoother shave than with this product alone.Customer Review: Awesome Shave Cream

This product is as great as it sounds. It is also extra-great in combination with the warming hot towel treatment. I have no idea how it works, but it is both extremely comrotable, and has resulted in my closest shaves ever!
