Bio Oil promises to deminish the appearance of stretch marks and scars and other skin imperfections. I've been using this for a week now for the sole purpose of stretch marks from pregnancy(marks ranging from 7 to 10 years in age) and acne scaring on my face. After a week the several larger stretch marks are already starting to fade in appearance, not much of a difference on the older ones as of yet. There has been NO change in the acne scars on my face, granted these are almost twenty years old. It has however made my complexion even out and have shrunk my pores, as well as fade the dark circles under my eyes. Again, this is only after one week of use, using twice a day as directed.
The bad is this is an oil, if you have naturally oily skin as I do then the oil doesn't feel that great on your face. By the time it fully absorbs in my skin my own natural oils start showing and I personally can't stand my face feeling gunky and looking shiny.
It has a wonderful smell, it's not over powerful but a pleasent light fragrance. I'm not sure how the results for me will change later on, I've already opting into buying another product for my acne scars. But the way this stuff worked so quickly on my minor skin imperfections and deeper stretch marks, I'd tell anybody to at least give it a try. It's also the less exspensive product out there from what I can see.
