My skin is far from perfect. I breakout very easily and have pores like minipotholes. (Don't judge me by the cover of my latest book - that is so airbrushed!) For me to give a product with shimmer four stars is a big deal.
Beige Shimmer Brick makes my deep olive complexion look like it's illuminated by candle-light. I *need* this during the dry winter or my skin will look dead and well...dry. I find this is best applied with a kabuki style brush. Just dust some over your cheeks, chin, even your eyelids - you'll look dewy but not sweaty. The shimmer particles don't settle into your pores, either.
Only thing that stops this from getting 5 stars is that the brick separates and breaks off from the packaging. I haven't dropped it or treated it harshly but it has cracked away from the container. It's still usable, but if I open it upside down one day, it will be all over the floor. Treat it like a newborn baby and you should be fine.
