I discovered this glaze two years ago and rely on it for a natural boost of color.
I'm normally light brown and graying, and without a little help my hair is very mousy. Since the color isn't an overall permanent color change & is picked up differently by the remaining brown & gray & near white--it gives me a 'weave' look that provides lots of compliments. The local stores no longer carry it, so I'm willing to order on-line, to continue using it, as the cost with shipping is about the same too.
I've changed the way I apply this product recently. My hair is somewhat dry, naturally curly, & sometimes gets a bit frizzy. I now shampoo and condition, then towel dry. I mix in my palm equal parts of product & inexpensive coconut oil--about a dime to nickel size of each (I keep each in a pump bottle)---then work it through hair, fluff and leave it alone. Sometimes I'll blow dry & spot curl with an iron or flat iron. To put a little more style a day or two later (without rewashing), I'll work a little more of the mixture into the hair and usually don't need any more styling product.
This method would probably not work well with less dry hair, but would still work well with my old method of shampooing, then mixing cream rinse with the product while still in the shower, and minimally rinsing before towel drying.
