They say that hands and neck are the first to show signs of aging, well if all I have to do is slather on this ambrosial scented crème on then I have nothing to worry about! Burt's Bees goes all natural, giving us a cozy and tasty scented crème that is made of Sweet Almond Oil, Purified Water, Beeswax, Aloe . Gel, Kaoline (natural clay), Grapefruit Seed Extract, Natural Banana Fragrance, Carrageenan Extract, Sodium Borate (Natural Borax), Tocopheral (Vitamin E), Beta Carotene,

I love anything banana scented, so when I first used this crème, all I could think was - I am in a Banana Nesquik heaven!!! I don't drink that stuff, but I sure would love to smell like it. I love to pile this on at night and put my little Burt's Bees gloves on and upon wake my hands are always supple and soft. I also recommend the Lemon Butter cuticle crème and washing hands with lukewarm water in the winter instead of hot nasty water that sucks any remaining moisture out and parches the poor hands until they crack.
This smells absolutely divine, and I love the yellow jar with the classic artwork on it. I always have it on my desk by my keyboard and I tend to reapply it as I type up my reviews, just to make sure that my hands are all taken care of. Beneficial and delectable, what could be more fun!

I bought this in the middle of the winter for my dry cracked hands, and also my husbands dry, cracked and splitting hands (hes is in the home improvement business). I just happened to see it in the store and thought I would give it a try as I have done with so many creams. I really didn't expect miracles, as we have tried so many hand creams to repair my hands and my husbands. Well to our surprise, this cream worked miracles! We were so surprised. I never new almonds could do such a great job healing..but...it smells like cherries to me...my husband likes the smell...not feminine or masculine. It is very, very, soothing. It takes a while to rub it in, and it does leave your hands greasy. That is the only draw back. I would say this is a "night hand cream". I put it on before bed. When I wake up..honestly my hands are like silk! I could not believe it. My husbands hands have improved so much...when he remembers to use it! I would recommend this if you have severe cracked skin, as it works great. But just remember it is greasy. It is not as greasy as vaseline. I have used it in the day, and just blotted it with a tissue and that helped a lot and didn't bother me all day. I've been using this product for a couple of months now after trying it in one of their "hands and feet" kits. My hands were very dry and cracking coming out of winter and also washing my hands a lot while taking care of toddlers. Using this and some other products, my hands/fingers really rebounded - yeah! So I purchased this full size product.
It definitely has an almond-y smell, especially if you sniff the jar - like you are sniffing almond extract while baking ;)
This is a thick creme, so it will go on rather thick and it does have a creamy/greasy residue at first. I'm not decreasing the rating for this because it does not surprise me for a thick creme like this.
I work at a computer all day, so I apply this while I'm working so I'm not really touching a lot of other objects.
Just a side note, this product rarely goes on sale in retail stores. At first I was a little shocked at the price (although all of BB's stuff may seem pricey), but I feel this container has lasted longer than I expected!
I recommend this product and I plan on purchasing again myself.

This product stands out above other lotions I've tried because it lasts longer, the smell doesn't stick to your hands, and it isn't tested on animals. I hate having to reapply lotions all the time, and this one really does the job on the first application. If you are working with paper and are sick of licking your fingertips whenever you need to turn a page, this is the hand creme for you. I love the scent of this, but if you don't, you can always try the banana, which works just as well. My favorite part about the scent is that ou are not going to reek of the product all day and annoy all of your friends and coworkers (ahem, bath and body works). It isn't tested on animals, which is great because I couldn't stand using a hand lotion that they had to smear all over some poor fuzzy creature in a cage first to prove it was safe. The containers are also great because they are very reusable. I clean them out and store all sorts of stuff in them. oh, just don't open it immediately after leaving it in a hot car all day or else all the water will escape the jar and the creme will be harder and much less easy to apply.Customer Review: Great for Hands and Feet

I bought this 3 years ago when I needed a hand cream to have at my desk at work. I ended up taking it home with me and then I lost it. I rediscovered it and began to use it after showers on my feet. It improved the dry skin and callouses so much! I use it on my dry elbows and I keep it with my nail polish/manicure supplies to use it on my hands, nails and cuticles before polishing. It keeps my skin and nails in great shape. I'm almost out and definitely plan to buy it again.
A few things about the scent/consistency: The scent is a very pleasant, mild almond and it is very, very thick. I guess you could compare the consistency to Crisco haha. A little goes a long way. I scoop a bit out and dab a tiny bit on each finger, that is enough for each nail. That dab is enough for each heel. This little pot will last you a while. It leaves a greasy residue, so plan to use it when you won't be touching papers, etc. Once that oil that causes the residue absorbs into your skin the results are amazing.
