What I like about Burt's is that it's a natural product, unlike antibacterial hand sanitizers such as Purell. There's plenty of literature that points to the fact that overuse of antibacterial products is not a good idea. Burt's is light spray with a clean and pleasant scent - better than the ooze that others sell. I keep one of these in my car and in my purse for after I grocery shop (grungy shopping carts) or go anywhere for that matter. My kids use it after I pick them up from school. While it doesn't really substitute for a good hand wash with soap, I believe it helps. I haven't been sick in 4 or 5 years. I attribute this, in part, to my consistent hand washing. I wouldn't say I'm obsessive compulsive, but I do make a point to wash my hands when I get home or before I eat. I think it helps.
