I received this hair dryer as a gift for my 18th birthday. I'm now 31-years-old. Yes, it's still going strong after 13 years, in spite of dropping it numerous times. It hasn't lost its ability to generate heat and the motor is as powerful as day one. The only negative thing I can think of is that it's a little on the heavy side, but not enough to where it causes any problems. I also love that it's fairly quiet and doesn't have a high-pitched whining noise. I don't think this hair dryer is made anymore, but it's definitely a keeper if you're able to find one. I haven't owned any other appliance that has lasted 13 years, especially one that I use frequently (approximately 4 times per week). This hair dryer is an incredibly durable and reliable product.
