funny how amazon puts the per bar price or per oz price now. I used to take note in my amazon shopping list how much cost per oz is of an item. definitely made it easier that its included right next to the price now so i can compare with other items not just reviews but cost as well. :D
Anyways, this soap is really good and I am about to buy another pack of 4 of these. I prefer fragrance free soaps like these because strong fragrance while trying to clean yourself in the shower doesn't make sense to me. A bar of this soap last a long time. I have no irritation from these at all and it doesn't feel drying to skin unlike other soaps so its safe to wash your face with it. Also I started using it as an alternative to shaving cream. I always end up with red irritated legs when i shave with one of those shaving cream in a can. I was surprise the soap worked for that same purpose and even better without the irritation. And the price is affordable if you get it from amazon of course.
UPDATE:
My review above is for the first batch of soaps that i ordered and i only have 3 bars left.
The reason why I'm putting an update here is because I recently ordered 2 quantities (24bars), received it few days ago and I was shocked. The soap changed.
Compared the old soap to the new soap and I'm not happy with the new ones.
Cons:
- Looks lighter more like water down soap
- No milk smell its gone!!! that's one thing I liked about canus soaps but I don't smell the milk at all
- Smells like lime.
- Too much sudzing!! why?? I liked how the old formula is creamy when being used. The new one is all suds
- Drying. Yes the new one dried my skin with first use, very disappointed.
- It left me with white stuff all over my skin specially on my hands and arms which is weird.
I'm returning the left over soaps because this new formula changed so much and actually dried my skin, for some reason it felt itchy as well. Very upset about this. Initially I'm giving it 5 stars for the old formula the new formula is not even 1 star. I hope they go back to the old formula. I should have bought a lot before this change. I took pictures to compare the old and the new just because I want to.
