i read all the reviews, this was even recommended by my stylist...
While I agree the curl lasts and it definitely gets rid of frizzies, I absolutely **cannot** keep this stupid things in my hair!! I roll up a section, put on the clampy thing and by the time I've reached for the next roller, it had just slid right off. It takes me twice as long to roll my hair because I have to futz with each roller many times. And if it doesn't roll right out, it slips and sort of hangs leaving a huge clamp line in the middle of the wave.
I have shoulder length, fine hair - lots of hair, but it is very fine. I'm assuming that's why it doesn't work for me.

I had these years ago, but when they died I replaced them with Conair hot rollers. Lately my hair has been so dry and hasn't held a curl, so I tried these again. They are great! My curls have lasted and lasted. I love the variety of roller sizes for different looks.
My only complaint is the slant of the top. It's difficult to balance the clip on top. I know the last time I had the curlers, I got in a pretty quick rhythm with rolling them and heating the clips. I am sure I will get it to work better with more tries, but so far I have had a lot of falling clips and have burned myself on the steam (nothing serious-- just slightly painful). A flatter top would make it easier and faster.

Had been needing to replace my old hot rollers when I found these online. I've only had them a week, but they work great. Steam unit heats up quickly and the rollers are easy to use. You do have to allow time for the curls to "set" as the steam dampens your hair. Take it down too soon, your hair will be damp and the curls will fall out. I also go ahead and take out the rollers I want to use, remove clips and have them set up on the counter for me to use. Handy bag for storage is included. I remove the roller, put the clip back on it, and toss it in the bag. When I've removed all rollers, just place the bag in the cabinet for storage. I have been a caruso hair setter fan for years and years. I was always told when my hair was set that I had a Marylin Monroe hairdo. I bought my hair setter eventually after years of use finally conked out. I felt though it was an expensive setter, I got my moneys worth. I bought another caruso setter just over a year ago and it burned out and was almost shocked.I did use it with salt and tried it without and the curls did not last. I just had to buy two more setters as they also come with multiple size rollers and I don't use the jumbo at all. I am still using salt and am worried these two will also be out of commision in no time. I wish this company would go back to the old style.Customer Review: Great product!

This is a wonderful product, does a great job and won't damage my fine hair. I can roll my daughters' hair and not feel guilty about damaging their hair.
The 30 rollers are a real plus! This new model is smaller than the previous pink one and doesn't require salt. I use distilled water, hoping it will prolong the life of the product.Came with a plastic bag for storage.Also, a booklet for achieving different hairstyles has been very helpful.
The reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5, is that it is a time consuming process. Heating the roller, rolling the hair, then heating the clip before using it can feel tedious. Generally, the results are worth it!
