This hairsetter system takes a little bit of practice, but once you've got the hang of securing the foam rollers in their clips correctly, it is so easy to use and so kind to your hair, no more frizzy ends from curling irons as the system just uses hot steam. My hair has never looked so healthy and the unit heats up in less than a minute and is ready to go. I'll never be without this product now. Also, Amazon's price is the best by far and I researched it carefully before ordering mine.Customer Review: You must keep the hairsetter clean for it to work properly...

If you have fine hair, thin hair, or both then this is probably the best hairsetter for you. The curls are long lasting and my hair has never seemed dry after use unlike some of the other standard hot rollers.
The other customers who had problems with the units not working properly were probably not cleaing it properly. Every so often, you have to fill the unit with equal parts water and vinegar and run it to break down mineral deposits. It also needs salt to steam properly.

I'm one of the unlucky people for whom this product didn't work. No matter what I did the curls wouldn't stay in for more than an hr. I tried different things and no difference. The only way I can get curls is by leaving the rollers on the steamer for a long time, steam the caps, and then leaving then in my hair for more than four hrs so they can dry, and even after all that, I have no trace of curls in my hair at the end of the night. I have fine hair and I just love this steam hairsetter! It gives my hair alot of body and some curl. Maybe the bad reveiws are from someone wanting tight curls? I have used it only 3 times so far so I don't know how long the hairsetter itself will last. I used to use a curling iron but it dried out my hair. I am actually able to style my hair better with this. The first time I was a little slow at rolling my hair in the curlers , but each time I seem to be picking up a little speed.Customer Review: Nice Product

I have 'difficult' shoulder length hair. Humidity is my enemy. I suggest using the largest rollers unless you want really curly hair. This products makes my hair soft. Like some of the reviews, the curl does not last very long but long enough for me. Don't expect your hair to look perfect the next day. I find letting my hair dry naturally and then setting. Curl last longer. Recommend this product for quickness and ease of use. Take your time doing it and you will be pleased!
