Customer Review: Best so far for infantile eczema....

My 8 month old son has eczema that started at about 2 months old. In addition to the usual red, flaky, dryness, his opens and weeps in some spots (my poor baby!). I have tried EVERYTHING....$90 prescription moisturizers, homeopathic remedies, slathering him with the inside of an aloe leaf and shea butter... I could put a down payment on his first car with the amount I have spent on creams and nothing has helped except topical prescription steroid creams, which I hate to use and are not safe for continued use. He is classified by his dermatologist as having "severe" eczema. I tried this product at the recommendation of my dermatologist and was pleasantly surprised at just how well it moisturized. We usually keep him slathered in Vaseline or Aquaphor at all times (making for a slippery, shiny, baby with stains all over his clothes), but this is WAY better. It absorbs well and leaves the skin "soft as a baby's butt"! Nice and smooth, and the pump on it makes it much more convenient then the tubs some of the other stuff comes in. I must mention that although it moisturizers well, it is not as effective at decreasing his inflammation, and he is still red in some spots, but no longer dry flaky and way less itchy. I imagine this also has to do with the fact that his eczema is severe, and someone who has mild to moderate eczema might have total relief from it. Regardless, this is by far the best product we have tried so far and way more convenient then waiting 30 days for my insurance to improve the newest, most expensive prescription moisturizer!
