Customer Review: Great color, smooth, but reactive with skin

I used this in the winter to compete with the fake-n-bake ladies of Chicago. It looks really subtle and nice (I am pale and don't want orange). The lotion doesn't look obvious where you stop applying it (like the back of your neck and chest).
My only issue with this tanner, aside from the price (seriously?), is that it makes my face bumpy for a week or so after applying it. Ok, so I have the skin of an infant, and many things upset it. But having clogged/upset pores seems beyond the typical result of tanners. My hunch is that there's diluting lotion in here as well... I'd recommend for Clarins to consider using gel as filler -- instead of mystery creams -- to avoid bad reactions.
