This may be one of the best-ever solutions for dry scalp and dandruff (so problematic during winter months, especially in the Northeast). My grandfather and HIS father used this tonic; my dad swore by it; and I used it regularly for over ten years until it suddenly disappeared from drug store shelves (all the more curious because the basic Clubman line of products made by the same company seem to be available everywhere these days...). I thought that it was just another victim of slick advertising...another good product that had been tossed out by changing times and attitudes -- much like the baby with the proverbial bathwater. What's great about this hair tonic is that it not only successfully (and relatively quickly)treats dry scalp and dandruff it's fairly priced in an age of over-hyped, overly priced "branded" alternatives.
There are other online sources for Pinaud Eau de Quinine but I've found that most have such exceptionally high shipping charges (more than the cost of purchasing multiple bottles of the product!)that I've smelled a rip-off...So, thank you, Amazon!
