Customer Review: Smoothes and moisturizes

My doctor suggested a cocoa-butter based product after a surgery left me with a nasty scar. I bought some Palmer's and now I wish I had done so sooner! It moisturizes so well. I would give it 5 stars, but I was unhappy with the following things:
The smell is not at all what I expected. Anyone who has used pure cocoa butter knows the delicious chocolate smell that the product has. The smell of this product is not unpleasant, but a man would probably not pick this product for the smell it has. It is girly.
Because of the awesome job this product did for skin softening, I used it on my horribly dry and cracked hands. It felt wonderful and the moisturizing effects lasted about 12 hours. The down side, it softened all my nails too, and most of them tore off within a few days of using this product. The tear usually began at the nail bed, so my ragged fingertips are awfully painful. Since I stopped using this product on my hands, my nails have started growing back.
I highly recommend this product for scars. I am amazed at the results. And the price is right! You don't need to spend a fortune to see results.
