I have really thick hair so it takes forever to blowdry. I had a blowdryer that practically blew you away when you used it because it dried my hair the quickest, but decided to get a new one since 1.) it was killing my hair and 2.) It was super loud and I have a baby on the way.If you're looking for a blowdryer that will knock you over with it's gust, this isn't it.... And if you're looking for a SUPER quiet blowdryer, this isn't it either...
But, it's a good blowdryer that is noticabley quieter than most blowdryers that I've owned in the past (which will come in handy with the napping baby around!)
It's a good blowdryer - with a great diffuser - quieter than most and inexpensive!

Pumping up the volume with this full-size hair dryer is easy. A speed-drying diffuser can be attached to dry top and bottom layers simultaneously, lifting the hair smoothly to add volume at the root ends and prevent that messy, just-blow-dried look that can ruin a glamorous evening on the town or create embarrassment in the office elevator. With or without the diffuser attachment, the dryer delivers 1,875 watts of power for proper drying and styling and operates far more quietly than many dryers. For travel, a button permits operation at either 110/125 or 220/250 volts, which covers nearly every electricity system on the planet. The dryer has two heat/speed settings, a cool-shot button for fixing nearly dry hair in place, and a removable air filter.
