The rollers are exactly as described. Cool to the touch with a velvety covering. The clips that come with the rollers work really well in keeping the rollers in your hair - however, for my hair they left indentions. I also bought the jumbo clips (extra) which don't work as well as the ones that come with the rollers. They also left indentions in my hair. This could just be that my hair is so fine. The disappointment comes in that the rollers just don't get hot enough to make good lasting curls (they are limp at best) - and with my hair being so fine and usually curling too much - I can't imagine that they would work very well on someone's hair that is thick or coarse.Customer Review: Second set bought.

This is the second set of Conair jumbo electric rollers for me. The first set lasted me about 4 years, and were still working although not heating as hot as I would have liked. The top of the case cracked from traveling. So, I do like these rollers. Especially the size of the roller. This new set has 4 extra jumbo, which I haven't used yet. The heating and roller placement is a little different than my first set, but they do heat up quickly. I held back from giving this a 5 star because I wish it was easier to travel with. If the hard top was replaced with a flexible material it would travel better. Hey Conair - Please come out with a travel sized JUMBO roller set!Customer Review: conair hot rollers

only used item once but seems to live up to expectations. no crease marks if you use spring clips rather than metal clips provided. don't snag hair. soft surface eliminates those "kinked" ends on hair that the regular plastic rollers leave. hair doesn't slide out. only question mark is the heat. they don't get as hot as my previous set but maybe they're not supposed to- it may be the new technology. i've got hair to middle of my back so i need to leave hot rollers in a bit longer than shorter-haired people. they were just barely warm to touch when i removed them. i bought 2 sets to cover my whole head. because i wanted only wide diameter rollers all the same size.Customer Review: Great curlers for volume and wave

I recently bought these curlers at Target for $27, not realizing I could have bought them here for $10 less. Anyway, I have been very pleased with them - they heat up very fast (they get VERY hot), and because they're large, they provide a lot of volume and wave, not little spiral curls that look unnatural. They also come with the metal wire clips that keep the curlers in your hair very well, unlike those plastic clips that come with most curlers I see.
The only drawback is that there is no place to store the clips - other curler sets I've had provide a little slot for the clips. But overall, I would definitely recommend these curlers.

I received the rollers two days ago. I have been a Conair customer for over 15 years and I was extremely disappointed in this product. The rollers were fine but the clips that came with them don't even hold the rollers nor are they made for them. Where it normally takes me 5 minutes to put them in my hair, it took triple the amount of time, more trouble than it's worth. It was so aggravating trying to hold them in place as they just didn't grasp the roller. Having had enough I returned them this morning and to add insult to injury, shipping them back was $10.00. It will definitely make me think twice before I ever order another Conair item .
