Customer Reviews of Conair Infiniti Tourmaline Hair Designer (Wine)Customer Review: Hang In There Summary: 4 Stars
O.k. here's the deal. Day 1, the dryer was going back; Day 2, the dryer was going back....Day 3 & 4, the dryer was going back, Day 5, hey I like this thing! I got the hang of flipping the ends and my hair is pretty straight with nice flipped ends. Day 6 and on, I'm not going back to my old dryer and brush.
It really takes about a week to get used to this dryer. I have thin, curly hair. I let my hair dry on its own for awhile, then finish with this dryer. My hair is not frizzy! it doesn't get stick straight, but it does get smooth with nice curled ends. It's almost like the old days when I used to dry my hair smooth with a brush and then set it on electric rollers...a big hassle. This is much easier. So, hold off on sending it back immediately and give yourself time to "get the hang of it". Note, I don't dry my hair from underneath, I dry my hair from the top of each section.
Customer Review: A girl's best friend! Summary: 5 Stars
I have fine, frizzy curly hair. I was NEVER able to blow it out straight...horrible results. Then I tried this hair styler, and my life will never be the same.
The product is super easy to use, dries the hair quickly, NO FRIZZ, ALL SHINE. Styling my hair takes a fraction of the time it would take with the brush method. Easy to maneuver even in the back of my head, and I don't even have to section my hair. Keep in mind, my hair is very fine, which makes it easier to straighten. But I'm sure this product is great for even the thickest and curliest locks. My hair looks just as good as it does when I get it blown out at the salon.
This is the greatest thing since sliced bread! I know what I'm getting all of my girlfriends for the holidays. I can't recommend this product enough. Try it! You have nothing to lose...and it just may change your life, like it did mine
Customer Review: Impressed Summary: 4 Stars
Well, I bought the blow dryer at sears a couple days ago even though I was still a little skeptic after reading the reviews on Amazon but I figured, what the heck?! I must say the product does as advertised, it straightened my very curly hair and it left it looking shiner. Another plus is that it dries your hair up really fast which will save you some time. However, in my case I needed to finish off the ends with my regular blow dryer as the conair one left them way too straight. Aside from that, I had to touch up the roots some as well. No big deal though. Some folks (especially those with really curly hair) who might think this will be the only hair straightening product they'll need will be in for a surprise. The Conair Infiniti 208 does straighten out your hair, but you'll probably need some other tool to finish it off (IE: a straightening iron, etc).
Customer Review: omg it really works! Summary: 5 Stars
i was skeptical of buying this product because i have bought sooo many hair products in the past that have not done what they claim to do, but this one definitely works! i have verrry thick/curly hair that takes me about 40 mins to dry with a normal hair dryer and round brush. it took me less than 20 mins when i used this. i would definitely recommend it for anyone who has even the least bit curly hair because it is such a time saver! and its compact size is great for travel.
after using this blow dryer for about 6 months, i have to say i still love it and it is still such a time saver. the only negatives is it doesn't make my hair as soft as other blow dryers, which is fine because i flat iron my hair after i blow dry it anyway, and it's really loud, i really wish it was quieter. other than that its still going strong and i love it!
Customer Review: Really does what it claims! Summary: 5 Stars
I have very thick wavy hair which I have chemically straightened in the past (just to make it manageable) but cannot do so any longer AND color it as it just dries it out. For any of you over 35 I really hate the Rosanne Rosanadana look which is what would happen to me. I would use a round brush (SO CUMBERSOME!!) to straighten it and then use a flat iron essentially all over and on several layers as it is so thick. This worked but took so long and by the time I was done I was hot, sweaty and my arms hurt.
This dryer gets a little getting used to in terms of how best to hold it but it dries your hair sleek and flat. It really works. I LOVE IT!!! I have used the flat iron just for touch ups. The time spent on my hair is much less because this dries and straightens your hair all in one step. I would most definitely recommend it.
