I went looking for a brush that had metal in the middle to replace one that I had purchased at a beauty supply store. I found this at Target and decided to try it. The second time I used it, I noticed little burns all around my neck. (My hair comes to about the middle of my neck, so it's impossible not to hit the brush on your neck here and there while blow drying) The white end is metal, and it DOES get hot enough if used with a blow dryer to burn you! If you're looking for this type of brush, make sure you find one that is plastic on the end to avoid getting burned. I would have never thought of this! Hopefully these brushes will be recalled because they are very poorly designed!
