Customer Review: Not as Bad as they would have you believe

I have read the reviews for this dryer. I have this dryer am planning on purchasing it yet again.
As stated this dryer will shut off after a few minutes... what is NOT said is that it is a overheating shut off safety to protect both user and unit from harm and is explained in the manual. The ONLY time I have had this unit shut off on me is when I use on high heat or if air hose is blocked/not flowing properly. I only use medium to low heat, no major troubles and my hair still dries.
I have used my unit for over a several years now need a new bonnet only but can't find just a replacement bonnet. So I will replace unit.
I have waist length extremely thick hair... I use bonnet without curlers. I find it easier then a hand held model which with my hair can take hours and my arms get tired. So I pop on the bonnet pull out a book, relax and dry my hair.
I wouldn't worry to much about the shut off feature. One should not use high heat for long periods of time for that will cause more hair damage then curling or flat irons do. medium to low heat is the best and anything that can honestly dry my hair without damage is a great thing. Only other bonnet I liked in the past was the Lazy Dazy and the old fashion nail care and hair dryer my grandmother had and I inherited.
