I have bought over $1mn of products from amazon.com and this is hands down the worst.
I have never bought a conair product (I am a man, I have relatively short hair), but I can say with certainly that even if they come out with a luxury line, I will never buy a product from them ever.
The radio simply didn't work. Multiple batter swaps, and yes, I know how to put in batteries and toggle switches and dials.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, no matter what the color (there are others on here identical but just another color).
I am returning this to amazon. Amazon ought to think about controlling its marketplace and barring products that get ratings this low from sale, like walmart does in their marketplace. it's truly terrible, and amazon should avoid becoming ebay.

It's acceptable, if only barely, for the price. We have an FM transmitter hooked up to our satellite-receiver audio out, to broadcast a music channel throughout the house to any FM radio; thus, the signal within the house is strong. Even so, this thing is finicky, and other than the local signal, pulls in very few stations (though, in fairness, we are in a remote area). If you are in a metro area with solid reception in your house or apartment, this will probably do. The sound quality is mediocre, but we don't expect a music hall in the shower stall; for the duration of a shower, it suffices.Customer Review: Great Little Radio for the Price

For what you pay for this radio it's great! It picks up every single FM station that any radio I have picks up, and that's in the shower. The volume has plenty of sound...now for the price if your expecting some JBL Monitors, then you can't be pleased. I don't understand why other reviews of this radio said it isn't picking up any stations...(I haven't tried AM because everything I listen to is FM) Anyway, if FM is on your listening radar, than by all means this a sure buy!Customer Review: Worthless radio

I'd give it less than one star if I could. We received it as a gift, so I couldn't tell my friend this, but I can tell you.... the stations don't tune in well and the noise level is there. But the biggest issue is the volume, which is almost non-existent. You can't hear it, even when it's on the highest notch... you're in the shower, the water is loud, the radio should be louder! Conair does make some good products but the company really missed the boat on this one.Customer Review: Crap

Gets two stars instead of one because sound comes out of it. Gets two stars instead of more because the sound is so crappy and so staticy there is little point in owning it. There's no excuse no matter how cheap it is. This is 100 year old technology! I ought to be able to tune in the one radio station I listen to and not have it go in and out of range depending on how close my hand is to the unit. Or whether I stand to the right or left of it. Garbage.
