I bought this radio to keep me company in the shower. It was great while it lasted. It had nice sound and the volume was easy to adjust and very loud. However, the tuner was hard to use as it was hard to find particular radio stations, even though my clock radio could pick them up, 5 feet away. It also went kaput after only about 6 months. Don't know what happened to it, but one day it just stopped working, and it wasn't the batteries. Considering it was only $10, I guess it was worth it, but I prefer for things to actually last for a while.Customer Review: Do Not Buy

Do not buy this item. I just got mine in the mail and I'm sending it right back. The volume is extremely low and I had a very hard time finding any stations at all. On AM, if you turn the volume up anywhere past the half way point it produces a single annoying beep tone...so, in order to even listen to anything on AM, you have to have the volume all the way down...that is if you can even find a station at all. The tuner is very hard to use and reception is horrible. Its a completely useless piece of junk.Customer Review: Worked great, for a while...

This radio was exactly what I was looking for: cheap & simple. I was a little annoyed that it took a whopping 4 AA batteries, but was fine with that so long as it worked well, which it did, for about a year. Then the volume started to go and I had to blast the thing just to have it play loud enough over the shower head. Now it only plays sound at an inaudible level. It lasted a year. If you want something that will last longer than that, I guess you'll have to cough up more dough.Customer Review: Hmm not too good

It burned through 4 aaa in about 1.5 weeks of maybe 20 minutes a day. Sometimes it gets the station sometimes it doesnt. Im about ready to toss it since I couldnt afford the battery consumption and the reception stinks.
I do have a skylight right above shower so there should eb decent reception.I would save my money and buy a better one.
Had one from radio shack that lasted 15 years worked great.Not the same as this of course.This one took 2 aa and lasted months.

The radio worked great for me. Sound was a lil static-y and muffled but fine for the shower.
The only prob I had with it is it's hook. I think the hook is a little too big and open and often if it got knocked into at all it fell. I think if the hook was smaller and tighter it would hold better and not fall as much.
I had it 7 months and after dropping it so much it seems to not work anymore, but I think it wouldn't fall as easily if the hook was less open.
