Why waste time in the shower when you could be getting your daily news? This unit has worked perfectly - can't speak about overall reception, as I stick to one station (which comes in clear without any static). If you don't have a shower radio, you should really purchase this unit. It's small, easy to hang or lay on a shelf, has easy to use controls, and good sound. If you are thinking about buying this,WALK ON BY! Worked good for one day,the next day it came back on like it had a mind of it's own then the next day the FM stopped working completely.What am I going to do with the AM station,stand in the shower and listen to church music and catch the holy ghost? Don't blame the kids if this breaks on you cause it's already broken! I'd give this a Review: Conair SR11 Shower RadioSummary: 5 Stars We purchased this primarily to use at the beach since it is waterproof and, we assummed, sealed and somewhat durable. It has exceeded our expectations. The unit has plenty of volume to allow us to hear above surrouding noise. It has proven to be quite durable, spending it's life in a beach bag. Reception is clear and strong for the local station we use to listen to the Phillies. A bargain at under $10.00.

So, I have had this radio for going on 7 months now. Picks up the station I listen to fairly well if I hang it in a certain spot. (not surprising as the station is weak). Sounds great too....BUT, After adjusting the volume, it will randomly be either blaring or too quiet. I have on numerous occasions turned it all the way down to have it still at peak volume. Too cheap to bother sending it back though.Customer Review: Not worth it, even for the price

This radio was purchased as an "interim" radio when our Sony model finally died, until we could pony up the $50 for a new one. However, it quickly became a bad decision as we realized that the sound would never come in clearly, even on the AM stations which are usually crystal clear in this area. So, in general I would advise everyone to skip this model, spend the money and get a good shower radio.
