Customer Review: Great for Great BIG Curls for Long Hair!

This jumbo rollers set is great!! It doesn't burn your hair like curling irons do and the rollers are velvety. I like the fact that they are BIG rollers so you wont get mini curls that end up looking like you are back from the 80s. I would of rated this set 5 stars but the fact that the set comes in a hard-case, I rated it only 4 stars - not as convenient for traveling when it's a hard case. When I pack it on my carry-on roller bag, I'm always afraid the top lid will crack because it's in my suitcase.
Overall, it's a great set if you want BIG curls or waves.

I have long hair and I use the standard Conair hot rollers almost everyday. I found these rollers to be slower to heat, not as hot as the home set, and too bulky. I bought these because I feel hot rollers cut down on the time it takes me to do my hair everyday however by the time they got hot and I added two more (5 is not enough for my hair) I found that this took more time than my travel curling iron and yielded less satisfactory results. Furthermore, they are bulky, the clips are big as well, and I will be much better off skipping these on my next trip.Customer Review: Reliable for years!

I've had the same set for over ten years and still rely on them for big bouncy curls or just to straighten out the frizzies. I've tried other versions, but these are the only ones that tame my thick hair and are easy to put in and I can let them set while I do my make-up and get dressed and then I am on my way! It is finally time for a new set as these ones have finally started to act up, but it's probably from me leaving them on too long at a time by mistake so now they over-heat and melt the rollers so the rollers no longer fit in the heater.Customer Review: Love them!!!

I have pretty fine long hair but alot of it-little over the shoulder in length. These give volume and a nice soft wave. Clips hold fine for me but sometimes leave a slight crease mark. Heat up very, very fast. Easy to use. They would be more perfect if there were 6 of them but I can make do with 5. I still have to use the big curling iron for the small shorter pieces of hair around my face. They almost give that look that the hairdresser can get using the big velcro rollers and then have you sitting under the hairdryer.....Very pleased!Customer Review: Not what I expected

I purchased these rollers based on the great reviews that were given. I had been using a set of Clairol rollers which worked well; however I wanted a set with larger rods. These seemed to be the perfect set since I travel quite a bit. Even though I overheat the rollers, they won't hold curl the way my other set would. I have tried leaving the rollers in much longer than I should and I still can't get the curls to last. The clips also leave crimp marks in my hair. I am back on Amazon searching for an alternative!
