Yikes! This is the first thing I have ever sent back to Amazon. The rollers get so hot you can't touch them anywhere. The clips to hold them in place are really weak. I have medium-thick hair. Perhaps people with thinner hair would have less trouble. The plastic top broke off the second time I tried to use them. This is the second Conair hair appliance I have owned. They don't impress me much. I can't imagine I would ever buy a Conair product again.Customer Review: One suitcase means smaller rollers!

Now that we have to cram into one suitcase, i got these strictly for travel. I haven't yet had the other problems people say. I just love the size of the rollers. Thanks to the reviewer who said converter- I assume in europe that a converter would have to be used on everything and I will be sure to bring one.I have been stuffing the big set into my suitcase, but this one will fit much better and hopefully not looks so suspicious on an xray scanner.Customer Review: don't bother - these suck

Why they suck:
-they barely got lukewarm, and after leaving in my hair for half an hour there was NO curl (and my hair curls easily)
-it's a travel set, but the clips that come with it don't fit in the travel case, and don't come with any kind of carry bag -- how is that fit for travel? That's okay though, because I'll never use them anyway.

I have been looking for a second set of these curlers and am so happy to have finally found them. They used to be named Big Curls and now apparently that name belongs to Conair's big curling iron. These curlers are terrific even for my thick hair. I throw them in and in a couple of minutes my hair has a curl that lasts all day. A few minutes is all it takes. The case is small so it is not too obnoxious sitting on the counter. Quick & Easy.Customer Review: Best rollers for long hair

This is the only tool I use to style my hair. I use it mostly to tame the frizz and flatten the hair (I have a lot of little natural curls). The large rollers create a wave in long hair and take away any flyaway hairs. Movie star hair!
I like the velvet lining that does not burn hair.
I'm 40 and have been using these since I was a teenager. This is also my 3rd set!
Make sure to not overheat the rollers.
